Earn your law degree in being part of the cure

Health law has become an increasingly complicated, diverse domain. From the ever-evolving tangle of regulations, to the complexity of Medicare and Medicaid systems, the health care industry can never have too many sharp legal minds. Health law calls for special skills in administrative law, corporate law, bioethics, family law, internet and technology law, and tort law, in addition to other more traditional legal areas.

At Hofstra Law, we train our students to become first-rate legal representatives to all of the health care system’s stakeholders.

The U.S. Department of Labor highlights health care as the sector with the largest projected number of job openings due to growth and replacement. As the sector continues to grow, lawyers with specialized training who focus on health law and policy will be needed to facilitate and implement laws. These lawyers will also be responsible for crafting policy and initiatives that will advance our nation’s health care system to ensure that adequate health care is available to everyone.
